The Best Things About San Agustin's Patron Saints Day
Annually, the Feast of Saint Agustin is celebrated to remind us of the life he lived as one of the greatest teachers of the faith. He was very much like us before becoming a saint; living a loose and sinful lifestyle until he made a move to realize what life's greatest purpose is perhaps, that is to be in the servitude of God and his people.
A celebration that serves as a runway to propel different causes embodying the principles and values at the University's core. This most awaited event is marked with activities that every Agustinian should look forward to.
1.Religion
The day starts with a mass to commemorate the death of Saint Agustin and to reverberate the teachings of the lord to the young minds of the holy institution. Most importantly, the mass is held to bless the entire day of celebration enabling prayers for the safety of the people, the success of the event, and the continuing prosperity of the institution.
2. Culture
Agustinians aren't known for their spiritual cultivation alone, their esteemed identity will never be complete without the culture that surrounds every corner of the university that has been passed down through the decades. From local and heritage food recipes served in Salo-salo, the undying passion for larong pinoy as students relive their childhood memories, until the celebration of traditional dances that fuel the spiritual soul.
3. Individual Growth & the Embodiment of Agustinian Values

Further into the event will be the showcase of the institution's revered students. Highlighting a spectrum of hard-honed skills and talents on stage are dazzling performances of literary musicals and theatrical plays. Finally, to complete the event is the search for the Mr. & Ms. Intramurals that builds the most visible stage to flash the embodiment of the Agustinian pride.
